Pete Johnson is the master of creating holy grail cigars.  Cigars that are spoken of in whispers, rumored about, and nearly impossible to find.  This year we have the TAA 2016.  Hard to find?  You bet!  They sold out so fast there was a sonic boom.
This leathery looking beauty blasts off with a stinging punch of black and red peppers followed by that rich flavor that Pete's cigars always exhibit.  Earth, leather, cocoa, minerals, and spices all create a very pleasing start.  It's a bold cigar out of the gate - which should not be a shock to Tatuaje fans.
A dense meaty note with a wine-like richness, vanilla, black coffee, dark chocolate, red pepper, paprika, and a touch of cinnamon make up the middle of the cigar where things tone down a bit.
Finishing off, the TAA 2016 keeps that spicy profile with cocoa and coffee making up the core.  I could easily smoke a ton of these with a huge smile on my face.  Pete never fails to impress and he shows once again that he is the king of broadleaf with yet another top notch entry into the holy grail cigar hall of fame.  Highly recommended....if you can find them
